Simon Spells is an innovative, new spelling program that helps students learn to spell. Created by leaders in educational research and technology, Simon Spells is based on successful, proven teaching strategies.

By choosing either Simon or Susan as their tutor, children are guided through individualized instruction at their own pace. Children also have an opportunity for independent practice.

Throughout the program, the spelling tutor offers positive verbal and written feedback to aid in the learning process. Spelling lessons are tracked and timed to improve experience and Simon Sounds It Out prevent frustration.

Word lists include all the Dolch vocabulary words and 500 of the words most frequently used in reading and writing. In addition, the spelling tutor presents words phonemically to help students struggling with difficult words. Words are presented in context of sentences to help increase vocabulary comprehension as well as improve spelling skills.
