IntelliTalk 3 is an innovative and award-winning word processor that allows students to combine graphics, text, and speech to support and enhance writing and communication skills. IntelliTalk 3 is also an excellent authoring tool, ideal for creating curriculum activities. Even better, you can easily modify activities for English language learners or any student struggling with reading or writing. And you don't have to start from scratch: IntelliTalk 3 includes a number of predesigned activities. Teacher-created text can be locked on the screen, allowing students to benefit from story-starters, informational text, and on-screen worksheets.

Classroom Applications
With IntelliTalk 3, you can track students' activity responses and quiz answers, and then record, report, and print student records for student assessment. IntelliTalk 3 tracks each student's performance in his or her own private portfolio, records student responses, compares them to expected answers, and makes their scoring results available in both detailed and summary reports.

Builds Independent Writers
Students soon become their own editors as they listen to and correct their work. Text can be read back to the student—a word, a sentence, or a page at a time, allowing them to hear if they have left out or misspelled a word. Graphics from IntelliTalk 3's picture library or student's own graphics can be added to documents, providing support for beginning readers and enhancing quizzes and student reports.

Integrated word prediction features (available across all IntelliTools Classroom tools) include context topics, phonetic spelling, recent word lists, grammar rules, custom dictionary and imported word lists, flexible display options, smart punctuation, and (in the network version) network-stored word prediction options and preferences.

Students can also access Spell Check, change font sizes and colors, hear text read aloud, erase, save or print with the touch of a single key. An onscreen alphabet is available to focus students' attention on the screen.
